The security team at Peacocks Shopping Centre in Woking help manoeuvre & protect Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button’s Formula 1 car.
The security team at the Peacocks shopping Centre in Woking were tasked with helping manoeuvre Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button’s silver arrow into position, where it was on show for a week, before assisting as it was moved through the centre and hoisted into the air where it hung for a further three weeks. Officers provided around the clock vigilance of the race-winning 2012 Formula 1 car, and helped customers eager to have their photos taken next to the car.
As part of the promotion, there was also a simulator of a Formula 1 car in Wolsey Place being used by the public as part of a competition, which officers monitored as well as assisting with the McLaren competition to ensure the event was a success.
